IRS Audit Letter CP22A – Sample 1

This sample IRS tax audit notice was sent to one our members. IRS Letter CP22A informs the taxpayer that the income and/or deductions on his or her tax return does not match what was reported by a 3rd party. As a result, the IRS changed the tax return to a match the records. In this particular case, this change resulted in a balance due.
